Welcome! The sections below contain important information about using EQ Pixie and its features. Here "EQ" means both EQ1 and EQ2. This manual contains buttons which illustrate the buttons in EQ Pixie and do not do anything. I hope you enjoy my program and if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions then please feel free to Contact Me. - Alex Gibbs Switching Between EQ and WindowsDo not press Alt+Enter in EQ. Instead use the EQ Pixie toolbar or hotkeys. Pressing Alt+Enter will prevent EQ Pixie's toolbar and windows from being visible in front of EQ. If you do press Alt+Enter, press it again to get EQ to switch back. (The technical reasons for this are discussed in Appendix: EverQuest's Screen Modes.) There are two ways to switch from EQ to Windows. The easiest is to click the Windows button on the EQ Pixie toolbar. In EQ1 you'll have to first release the mouse by pressing the toolbar hotkey. The other method is to use the EQ Pixie hotkey for switching to Windows. (There are more hotkeys and they are all customizable.)
Stay On TopIf you desire, most of Pixie's windows can remain visible while playing EQ. Simply press the "Stay On Top" button in the window. EQ1 Resolution RecommendationWhen EQ1 is full screen it will look best if you have it set to the same resolution as Windows, but this is just a suggestion. For those who want to know more, please see the Appendix: EverQuest's Screen Modes. This does not apply to EQ2 because it automatically adjusts itself. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() © 2005 Alex Gibbs.
