I started playing EQ in 2001 and EQ2 when it came out in 2004. I began writing EQ Pixie in 2003 for the original EverQuest game. I put a lot of work into it since then and it has undergone many changes. I created its website in 2004. When EverQuest II came out I made sure EQ Pixie worked with it as well. Although EQ Pixie has a few features specific to each game (see table on main page), most tools work with both, and all new features are developed for both games whenever possible.
